Deidre Du Bois
She was born in 1971 in El Paso/Texas(USA)
Of American and Luxembourgish nationality, she is married and is a mother to 2 children.
After her legal studies at the University of Panthéon/Assas, Paris II, where she obtained a master's degree in general private law in June 1995 and a master's degree in private law, specialising in ‘judicial service’, she was appointed to the Luxembourg bar in 1996 as an apprentice working at Dupong & Lecuit.
Since 2001, she has been an associate at Dupong, Krieps, Du Bois & Dias Videira.
From 2005 to 2006 she was the president of the ‘Conférence du Jeune Barreau de Luxembourg’.
She has a seat on the committee of the ‘Association de Protection des Droits de l’Enfant’ and is a member of the ‘Commission Consultative des Droits de l’Homme’.
She is also the Luxembourgish member of the association ‘ International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML)’ www.iaml.org.
Finally, she is a lecturer at the University of Luxembourg.
